The essay “city of love ” the author discuss how women are poorly portrayed in the city of Manhattan. The essay has a good description on the roles of women being equal. For example, Men are portrayed as dominant, so they have more statues in Manhattan. Throughout the essay the author made me think about the different women statues and how there scattered across New York City. In other words, i agree with the authors argument on how women are poorly portrayed in Manhattan because some jobs and markets in Manhattan do not equally pay women the same as men.To sum up, there are many different ways to explain how women are not equally portrayed as men, but in this essay the author makes a valid point on how men and women don’t have the same number of statues.

City Of Woman
based on the essay city of woman that we read today in class, my thoughts about this short writing is that the author really dislikes the fact that woman in New York or woman in general are not recognized or are not given too much attention. she talks about how graffiti was a big deal back then and how many males dominated it but shined light on one of the few woman who were also apart of that era. my most favorite part would have to be the fact that she showed how many woman make up new York by changing the name of the train stations to famous and important females of new York. she shows the importance of the females in NY in a really unique and interesting way.
